Event Insurance & Non-Refundable Policy

All wedding and event reservations, deposits, payments, packages, and add-ons are NON-REFUNDABLE.

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase event insurance to help protect their investment in the event of unforeseen circumstances, cancellations, emergencies, severe weather, illness, travel disruptions, or other situations that may prevent the event from taking place as planned.

Because all payments made to The Historic Hidden Gem are non-refundable, purchasing event insurance is the responsibility of the client and is highly encouraged.

Agreement, Contract Holder & Authorized Communication Policy

An agreement with The Historic Hidden Gem is considered entered into and accepted upon receipt of the first deposit or payment, regardless of whether a separate written contract has been physically or electronically signed. By submitting the first payment, the person making the reservation acknowledges and accepts the applicable package terms, policies, payment requirements, cancellation policy, and venue rules.

The individual who makes the reservation and/or submits the initial payment will be considered the Contract Holder unless otherwise agreed to in writing by The Historic Hidden Gem.

All communications, requests, changes, approvals, cancellations, rescheduling requests, modifications, upgrades, and other decisions regarding the reservation, event, package, or services must be made directly by the Contract Holder.

The Historic Hidden Gem will only accept instructions or authorize changes from the Contract Holder. Family members, parents, in-laws, members of the wedding party, guests, vendors, or other third parties may not cancel, modify, reschedule, or make decisions regarding the reservation unless the Contract Holder has provided prior written authorization.

Any cancellation, rescheduling request, or material change to the reservation must be submitted in writing by the Contract Holder.
